I knocked out days 18 and 19. Day 18 took me from Bercianos del Real Camino to Mansilla de las Mulas, which is about 17 miles. I stayed in an apartment that I got through Booking.com. It was nice and I had a kitchen. I decided to make myself bruschetta, at my lovely wife’s suggestion. It was great!
On day 19, I walked from Mansilla de las Mulas to Leon! This was a short walk compared to other days, a mere 11 miles. Leon is the last big city before Santiago de Compostella. It was nice to get done early. Tonight I am staying at a hotel near the Cathedral. In two days, I will be exiting the Meseta. A few days after that, I will enter Galicia which is the last section of the Camino. It will get mountainous again and the weather will impacted by the Atlantic Ocean. In the past, this means WETTER!
After today, I have 13 days of walking left. Tomorrow I will hit the 300 miles mark!

Hi, you are really making progress. Sean and family were with me, for about three hours , coming from the airport, then they went to their house. Steve, Lauri and me went over to their house for pizza, the rest of the family joined us. The boys have grown , even since I saw them in Texas. Had a great time with them. We watched all the men and their boys play baseball. Hope you have a good time, on the rest of your travel. I am keeping my eye on you, in my atlas. Love you Mom
